Full Steel Shot Production Process: Step-by-Step Manufacturing Guide

Steel shot is the mainstream spherical abrasive for shot blasting cleaning, rust removal, descaling and shot peening. Stable roundness, balanced hardness and low breakage rate all rely on standardized, full-process production. Step 1: Strict Raw Material Selection & Inspection

High-purity steel scrap and alloy raw materials are screened first. We remove rusted, mixed impurity materials to stabilize carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus content.

Step 2: Medium-Frequency Induction Furnace Melting

Qualified raw materials are fed into induction furnaces and melted above 1600℃. Technicians continuously detect molten steel composition to adjust alloy proportions, eliminate internal slag and impurities. Uniform molten steel lays the foundation for high roundness shot.
