The raw material of steel sand is scrap of high carbon steel or alloy steel.
The invention relates to a process for preparing steel sand directly from scrap steel material. Include the following steps:
(1) The scrap steel material of high carbon steel or/and alloy steel is put into the quenching device for heating quenching treatment;
(2) Put the scrap steel material after heating and quenching into the crusher for crushing, and obtain the semi-finished steel sand;
(3) The semi-finished steel sand is screened and classified, that is, the finished steel sand is produced. The steel sand production method of the invention reduces the process of smelting scrap steel and making shot, which must be cast into steel shot first in the traditional steel sand production process, and greatly saves the production cost.
There is also a steel sand production method, which is characterized by including the following steps:
(1) The scrap steel material of high carbon steel or/and alloy steel is put into the quenching device for heating quenching treatment;
(2) Put the scrap steel material after heating and quenching into the crusher for crushing, and obtain the semi-finished steel sand;
(3) The semi-finished steel sand is screened and classified, that is, the finished steel sand is produced.
